Whether you are new to training or looking for insights to optimize your existing plan, Coach Patrick will be sharing tips, tricks, exercises, and mindset techniques developed from nearly 20 years of ice climbing.

Meet your host

Patrick Cooke has been ice climbing for nearly 20 years. In that time, he's sent most of the hard classics in New England, and has ticked several classics in the Canadian Rockies, Québec, Scotland, and Hyalite Canyon.

He's especially drawn to thin, technical routes, lines with interesting ice features to work through and, increasingly, more sport-style mixed climbing. After 12 years of teaching high school history, he's now a climbing coach with Project Direct Coaching and Central Rock Gym in Stoneham, MA.

Some of Patrick's proud sends include:

🧊 Le Mulot - WI6 - St Marguerite Headwall, Québec
🧊 Call of the Wild - WI6 - Lake Willoughby, VT
🧊 The Resistance - M10 (5 pitches) - Mount Washington, NH
